30 The apostles gathered around Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught. 31 He said to them, “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. 32 And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.
Well I didn't go away to a deserted place. However, as our Lord did I found a place of peace where the clutter and clamor of life I was secluded from. No cell phone use, no internet, etc.. I actually survived after six days. Amazing! LOL.
Well, back to reality and work here at FBC and the church. Amen.
Just to let you know we have some exciting things happening at FBC I am going to keep you informed of in the next few weeks. One is a new Quarterly course I am designing and taping that will have open enrollment. I believe the subject matter will be relevant and it will be blessing to all who participate, as well at a reduced cost for all. Also we will be engaged in more interactivity with students and former students as well. Please pray for us as we start the new year and promote and progress as an institution in Christ.
I want to thank Dr. Shadle and Dr. Boer for watching over things when I was away. They both are a wonderful pair to work with in this labor of love.
God bless you all in your endeavors in 2016.
