We are the temple of God the scripture says as believers in Christ Jesus. It is within our Spirit that God houses the same embodiment of God's grace as we see reflected from those articles in the Ark of the Covenant. Veiled in flesh is how God revealed himself through us, and through us as His " little christ's " he tries to do the same. One of the articles in that Ark was a piece of the manna God used to feed the people of God, which God allowed for them to put away in a jar in remembrance of His provision. In each believer He tries to do the same, as the Living Manna ( His Word ), is shared through us and touches those we come in contact to each day. Our lives, living temples or tabernacles of His grace. Are to be used in honor to the Lord, to share His love to all we come in contact to. We need to honor and cherish what God has given us, in a way that respects His name. Which is to live out his Word and what is represented in the Ark as living epistles to be read of all. Glorifying God in our bodies to the praise of His Name. Remember this: John 6:58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. It isn’t like the bread your ancestors ate, and then they died. Whoever eats this bread will live forever Common English Bible. (2011). (Jn 6:58). Nashville, TN: Common English Bible. To all students, faculty and friends of FBC,
I hope your summer is going well, and that you are enjoying the benefits of sunshine, family and relaxation. We here at FBC are moving forward and striving to implement our vision for the bible college. Organizing our new short courses series, and laying the foundation for better opportunities for our students, as we are updating courses, considering locations for onsite teaching through a church network in Orlando, and expanding our PhD program which is in its infancy as a considered area of study. Bishop Boer has advised me that our current location in Orlando will be changing, but this should not affect the work we are doing in any way. Pray as we are trying to get all the paperwork together as it has to be notarized by various parties. Our yearly renewal of certification with the State of Florida is presently at hand, so all our paperwork with our new location has to be all in order before we send it to the state. That being case, it is important that we can get all this work done in a timely manner. Notice to all students currently studying with us in the Short Courses series. The lesson 7 audio will be available tomorrow, and Prep Questions for the next lesson online in short order. Our mid term test will be posted by Monday for all students studying for college credit. You may receive 2 credits with this course of study. Also, I am bringing on board from our ministry at Covenant of Grace one of our bible teachers to help with some of the work at the college. He will be assisting with replying to some email correspondence and handling phone calls three days a week between 10-3 pm. My schedule has been so busy, that I believe that this will help us to keep things better on track. Work on the FBC Forum as well other opportunities for better communication will evolve during this time. God bless you all. I appreciate your support in prayer and finances with FBC. It is an honor to serve you in whatever capacity I may. In His Grace, Dr. Patrick Vossen President, FBC |
